In 2008, the Colorado Psychiatric Society established its separate 501(c)(3) Foundation to advance the understanding and prevention of mental illness, promote mental health through education and advocacy, and support psychiatric research.

2023 Donations:
The Colorado Psychiatric Foundation (CPF) is pleased to announce that, thanks to your generosity, the CPF board voted to donate to six local organizations in 2023:
Colorado Coalition for the Homeless to assist individuals without housing
The Colorado Physician Health Program to support the health and well-being of physicians in Colorado
Family Promise to assist families without housing
Rainbow Alley (at The Center on Colfax) to support LGBTQ+ youth by providing a safe, affirming environment
REACH (Respecting Ethnic and Cultural Heritage) to further multicultural education that fosters inclusivity
Denver Mile High Rotary Foundation to address youth mental health needs, particularly for underserved youth in refugee and/or minority communities
Giving small grants for programs at other organizations. For example, the CPF funded a collaboration between the Stout Street Clinic and Urban Peak to target services for homeless youth between 16 and 24.If you are interested in serving on the Colorado Psychiatric Foundation board, please reach out to ColoradoPsychiatricFoundation@gmail.com.
